Effective April 5, 2023, The Singing Machine Company, Inc. Board of Directors increased the number of Board members to ten and appointed Messrs. Milton C. Ault, III and Henry C. W. Nisser as Directors, effective immediately. MM.
Ault and Nisser will serve on the board of directors until the next annual meeting of shareholders of the company and until their successors are elected and qualified or until their death, resignation or removal from office. In addition, the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Ault as Executive Chairman, a senior position in the Company. Milton C. Ault, III, 53, has served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Ault Alliance, Inc. (oAAIo) since January 2021.
Mr. Ault previously served as AAI’s Chief Executive Officer from December 2017 to January 2021 and Executive Chairman from March to December 2017. Mr. Ault is a seasoned business professional and entrepreneur who has spent decades identifying value in various financial markets, including equities, fixed income, commodities and real estate. Mr. Ault has served as Chairman of the Board of Ault Disruptive Technologies Corporation (oADTCo), a NYSE-listed special purpose acquisition company, since its incorporation in February 2021.
